Re: OT: 4k 32 inch TV
Try Boland Communication, they have a 4K 31 pro monitor (broadcast type), serial control, etc. ?You might need to go around 2.2 with an Integral or something. ?Maybe some other broadcast monitor would work. Alternatively us a computer monitor and let it manage power automagically. ?Cheaper and not as reliable . . . Hey, Infocomm may have someone dropping one out this week. Hi all, Does anyone know of a controllable 4k HDCP 2.2 TV available? We have a project which we need to certify as 4k compatible and it now turns out one of our TV locations will only fit a 32 incher. I have looked at PC monitors however I haven't seen any which are controllable.? Has anyone come across this issue before / can think of any suitable products? Thanks, Luke |
Re: INET-CBDEX-E w/ GWEXER ?
turn them off and see if the RF goes away . . .? From: <Crestron@...> on behalf of "weddellkw@... [Crestron]" <Crestron@...> Reply-To: <Crestron@...> Date: Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 8:55 AM To: <Crestron@...> Subject: [Crestron] Re: INET-CBDEX-E w/ GWEXER ? ?
We've found that the site has a very high RF noise floor across all channels. ?I've shut down wifi and other known RF devices and still end up w/ a steady blast in the 40-50db range. The security company has installed several UPB dimmers for timed lighting, a product which I haven't messed with in ages. ?Has anyone had RF issues in a shared environment of this type? These are the dimmers in question: ? ?

Re: 2 way serial module won't catch rx string.
Thanks for the suggestion. ?I created a new plug which had only 2, 3 and 5. ?Still had no luck. ?I guess it must be some settings that I did wrong. ?Something could be very basic. ?I have checked all the working serial connections on the box. ?None had any feed back for rx$. I never bothered to deal with this before, but now, I am working toward a certified programmer, I need to make this work. ?Thanks in advance if someone can point out which piece is missing.?

Re: Lutron homeworks remote connect
Also for installer remote access turn off multicasting under processor settings?before?you leave site
Consequently some functions won't work remotely - notably database extraction - unfortunately this requires multicasting to be on - and make sure you have the current database?before?you leave site. Homeowner settings will sync fine via unicast connections however With the right setup it is possible I believe to pass multicast packets but I haven't tried it (GRE etc.) The connect bridge is for user app access only and not for configuration via Designer The connect bridge does not need any special setup - the app finds it because you will have a registered Lutron account to use it. Works really well actually from a user perspective - user can move freely from WiFi to 3G/4G and it just works |
Re: DIN-CENCN-2(-POE) anyone used it? I'm not impressed!
Guys,
Thanks for the feedback. What I've noticed is that all feedback &?ReportLightLevel works fine after a cold start but breaks after a ProgReset or ProgLoad. I have another 8 here so I'll try the others and check that I don't have a dud. Cheers -s |
Re: DIN-CENCN-2(-POE) anyone used it? I'm not impressed!
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýCurrently working on a project that has eight floors and 10 din-cencn. I didn't encounter any issues wirh connecting to device either Ethernet or USB.? Sent from my Bell Samsung device over Canada's largest network. -------- Original message -------- From: "slip.cougan@... [Crestron]" <Crestron@...> Date: 2017-06-14 7:14 AM (GMT-05:00) To: Crestron@... Subject: [Crestron] DIN-CENCN-2(-POE) anyone used it? I'm not impressed! So first off some comments: * Can't connect to it using USB even though the thing has a USB port on the front * Can't find it using Toolbox device discovery on Ethernet (PC & gateway plugged into same switch) * Can find it using Toolbox device discovery on USB but can't get any system info * Had to find it in my router by looking up the MAC address * Does have a web interface that you can connect to once you know the IP address and that is pretty good once you get that far. * The Do Guide is frankly a joke. What ever happened to proper manuals? Some concerns: * No way to detect the gateway is online within Simpl Windows as it's not possible to add an Offline Manager * My really big concern - After a program reset (new program loaded) the gateway resets and feedback to any keypads connected does not get updated. My program uses the ReportLightLevel input on the C2NI-CB's and lighting levels & scenes are stored in NVRAM. When the gateway comes back online none of the feedback LED's light on the keypads until they have been set low and then high again. Same with ReportLightLevel, if that signal is already high then I get no AmbientLightLevel update from the keypad until I drop & re-assert?ReportLightLevel. This is unacceptable. * Cresnet device Poll Managers don't seem to work reliably - If the device is plugged in it never shows as offline after a progreset so I can't use that to update the status of FB & ReportLightLevel. If I unplug a device when the gateway is in a normal operational mode then Offline status is updated. If I ProgReset with the device offline & plug it back in while the system is restarting it still shows as offline even though I can use the device. Regarding connecting via USB I get this info when connecting: Could not connect to the device as specified by the address. No valid Communications channel available Failure: RAPI init failed. ?Is ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center installed? <not supplied> So does that error mean that I need to install ActiveSync or Windows Device Centre or that these are installed and are causing the issue? The message is ambiguous to say the least. As far as I'm aware I have neither of those installed. Also if I do need to install them then I ask why. We haven't had to use ActiveSync since the old MT-1000 days. This is not an enterprise product! Any comments welcome. -s ? |

App Wont Download Project file on SSL
Got a Pro3 that is going to be exposed to the internet so I'm setting up SSL and AD authentication on it. Got it connected to the domain and authentication is working normally. ?However when I connect an iPhone to it its telling me that the project file cannot be downloaded. It was working fine before switching to SSL I know the Crestron App is authenticating properly and the port numbers in the App match what is in the processor 443 for SSL and 41796 for SCIP. Webserver is enabled. Also I'm doing this internally for now so its not anything related to a firewall etc..? Thanks! --Kyle Goyer |
