Re: Fusion room

Is your Fusion server licensed?? It will only work for 5 rooms (selected at random apparently) until it's licensed.

I have dealt with flexwatch cameras before. I'm out of the country right now but send me an email to malcocer at macautomated dot com to remind me and I will send you the commands for PTZ and presets.

Anybody ever dealt with FlexWATCH cameras?

I've got some strings that we've captured using the browser interface of the cameras, but can't seem to get them to work via SIMPL (or Debugger).

For example - this string works if I paste it into a browser and hit enter.

Nothing loads into the browser, but the camera moves (the "107" happens to be the UP command).

The same string sent via Debugger, with an added "\n" generates a "400 page not found" error, but does not move the camera.

I've got my TCP symbol set to the same (10.0.4.130) address, and port 80. The connect_fb is high. I've tried adding a :80 into the string. I've tried removing the IP info and starting with /goform... I've tried sending commands when my browser is not also connected to the camera. I've tried 700 other variations too.

The browser interface for these cameras requires an ActiveX plugin, but I've successfully sent direct commands by pasting them into Chrome as well.

The preset recall commands require an admin login, which pops up in my browser and then the command does work. The PTZ commands do not require a login and just work in a browser (tried it in multiple browsers which were definitely not already logged in).

My problem may be that I'm misunderstanding TCP control of a device that's only meant to be controlled by its own web interface. Any ideas?

Thank you.? That's what I was hoping to hear.? It wouldn't have been a problem to edit the commands.? My worries were if they were different and not available.? Plus it's nice to just swap it out and have it just work.

Re: Crestron Today issues

Hey Matt,

I hear you, happens to me all the time too! You¡¯re welcome.

I didn¡¯t see you mention this in your first post, so please check for the watch, make sure you have right-clicked on the Crestron App IP-ID in program view, to insert the ¡°Crestron App Watch Functions¡± extender. Same signals as the Crestron App Notifications that appear automatically in Slot-2 of the IP-ID you have dropped the Crestron App on to. They can use the same Analogs and Serials, but you will get an error if you match names for the Digitals signals.

Hi Trey

Haha, knew it would be something simple! I've never even been all the way to the bottom of the app!! Thanks for the heads up

Works well now on the phone in the notification view window, but just shows "connected" on the watch with ten blue buttons - none of which show any text, icons, or push joins to the processor.

Will try some more Googling and testing, at least i am 50% there now..

Latest version of Samsung EXlink protocol

What I have is 5 years old. ?I have to replace a UN60ES7500 with a new UN65KS9800. ?Tried contacting Samsung tech support which resembled talking to a wall. ?All I got out of the conversation was the protocol had changed since 2012. ?They said they would initiate a request for that information and forward it to me via email. ?Checked my email and after waiting three days, they sent me a password reset. ?Anyone have the latest version. ?Actually, I only need on and off to work. everything else is handled elsewhere. ?Thanks, ?Chip

Re: Filezilla to a TP

WinSCP is much better than FileZilla. You can set up PuTTY with it, so you can use WinSCP to FTP the file to the panel and then SSH into it and load the project.

Crestron - Logitech Harmony Hub Integration

Does anyone know of any drivers for integrating a Crestron system with a Logitech Harmony Hub? ?Currently I'm doing this through IFTTT but a direction connection would be a little cleaner/faster. ?I've done a google search but haven't come up with anything. ?I thought I would ask the group in case there is something I missed.

Re: Move to Pyng?

Thanks. ?I realize it was referencing pyng but it also asked for better ways of handling opening/closing of shades based on time of year and as pyng is a closed environment I figured a suggestion that incorporated code running on a separate processor that could be linked into pyng would be a welcome suggestion.

That post was referencing Pyng, which won't work with that, but it's pretty cool nonetheless!
