Re: Dolby CP-850
This model is NOT created equal to the CP-650, CP-750. I only has basic commands. In a nutshell you can only call macros, volume, and mute. The volume and mute is the main output (same as controls on front of unit).
The protocol is in the manual in appendix B. I have controlled it IP using port 61408 (plain ascii) serial is 9600 (straight) There are 2 ways to call macros by number or by name. By number limits you to 1-8 referring to the 8 buttons on the front of the unit (assignable) and by name is how the macro is named in the unit. Here is the syntax for number: execute macro 1 = sys.macro_preset 1\n query last macro run =?sys.macro_preset ?\n (hacked this, not identified in api) ? ? ? response ?example =?sys.macro_preset 1 ? name is = sys.macro_name [string]\n fader ?= sys.fader [0-100]\n mute = sys.mute [0-1]\n Hope this helps Chris B. |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI saw this exact same issue with AMX and Tesira. I was using RS232 and received data was sometimes all messed up.? It turned out that the RS323 on the AMX was failing, like it does so often. I ended switching to IP. ? From: Crestron@... [mailto:Crestron@...]

That reminds me of a problem I had quite a few Tesira FW versions back with subscription FB to an AMX system where the Tesira actually had random typos coming out of it. Sometimes it would be missing random letters, other times it would randomly capitalize letters. It wasn't high baud rate errors, it was actual typos. This was an early FW version though. |

Re: Digital Audio "Turn On Delay"
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI had the same problem. ?Crestron said it was Windows, Windows said it was Crestron. ?It may have even been the extron display port to hdmi adaptor. We could not keep the digital audio working consistently and spun our wheels long enough. Ended up running
analog for audio just so we could move on. ?

Re: Digital Audio "Turn On Delay"
We first noticed this issue when the DMPS3-4K-150s came out.? TB agreed it was an issue and said they had it fixed in firmware a couple of versions ago.? I am still having the issue.? I am not holding my breath for a fix. On Thu, Sep 1, 2016 at 9:27 AM, jspence4@... [Crestron] <Crestron@...> wrote:

Re: Digital Audio "Turn On Delay"
I had a similar issue yesterday with a Lenovo all-in-one connected to a DMPS3-300-C. ?It seems like the Lenovo is turning off the digital audio if no audio is playing, then the DMPS takes time to start playing the sound once you start it. ?I have no idea what the cause or solution is. ?Did not have the same issue with my Surface Book connected MDP to HDMI. ?

Digital Audio "Turn On Delay"
Hey guys, The college just updated all of its computers, and we've switched from using analog trs-mini audio to digital via DP++ to HDMI cables. We're using DMPS-300's in about 15 places (not the current 3 series version). With this setup, we get no sound at all until there's been 7 or 8 seconds of continuous audio, then it kicks in. You could click the volume bar for minutes and hear nothing, it's got to be a sustained, prolonged noise to 'trigger' the sound.? It almost seems like a gating/threshold kind of issue, but there's no DSP or processing going on at all. I've experimented with changing the input from auto select by forcing it to look for digital audio in the program. It seems to be specific to the DMPS product line, because we've got several other systems that use digital audio straight into transmitters and DM switches that don't exhibit the same symptoms.?The computers are Lenovo M900 Tiny's, if anybody's curious. New model, Win7/64, and current drivers as far as we can tell.? I haven't found the silver bullet yet.?Has anybody else had digital audio issues like this? Short of a wiring change, what's the fix? Re: OT - Epson Powerlite 1980WU - Discrete HDMI IR commands
Hello Everybody,
I have this same problem, I'm working in a project with more than 10 epson projectors, three different models,?Brightlink Pro 1430 Wi,?Brightlink 485Wi+ and?PowerLite 1960, they all have the discreet HDMI IR command problem. I have tried many different models from the crestron database and the universal remote database and nothing has worked. Maybe there is not such a thing as an epson hdmi discrete IR command?!?!. If anybody has one please share it!!!. Thank you. Alfredo. ? |
Re: how to schedule reboot MC3
Michael S. Moran
SnapAV provides the capability to schedule reboots and they also provide the ability to remotely reboot each port on any of their IP
enabled Surge and Power Conditioners via their OVRC APP, available at the APP Store. Best personal regards, Tel: 561.391.1843 P.O. Box 273406 : Boca Raton, FL 33427 <> From: Crestron@... Subject: [Crestron] how to schedule reboot MC3 we have an MC3 installed that can't be accessed remotely and locally from client's ipad after around 2 weeks of use. When we reboot MC3, it works normally already. we are still finding the problem. For the meantime, how do we schedule a daily reboot at lets say 3AM to the MC3? I know how to use the scheduler program but how do I run the reboot command on the MC3? thanks. |
