Re: Mirage MMS / Crestron App - Call back feature

Both apps use the same URL. ?They should fix this, but they probably assume that no end users would have both apps installed.

Re: CLWI dimmers keep on dimming!

OK, so for this room I have had to set the max dimming level to just under full to resolve the issue.

Thanks

IOS update seems to have broken horizontal scrolling list on Mobile Pro

Hi all,

client has updated iPad3 to latest IOS and now the horizontal scrolling list in Mobile Pro is very flakey.

Its almost impossible to scroll with a normal swipe, however the buttons work fine. Since this is the room selection list it is somewhat inconvenient.

I have made sure Mobile Pro has been updated to latest version, and have recompiled and uploaded the project from latest VTPro but still the same.

Anyone else experienced this?

Is there a fix (yet)?

If not I may have to change the list to a popup page full of buttons.

TIA

Nick

Re: Mirage MMS / Crestron App - Call back feature

i tried?mirage://192.168.1.58/?callback=crestron://

it goes to CRESTRON Mobile Pro not CRESTRON APP.

Whats the callback address of CRESTRON APP?

I should have read down further.... The zoom direction is combined with the speed, unlike the pan and tilt. The first 4 bits represent the direction, the lat 4 the speed. If it's \x24 the camera should be zooming in at a speed of 4. If it's \x37 the camera should be zooming out at a speed of 7.

I created my own Visca module a while back and haven't looked back. You can do everything in Simpl really easily (though I do store presets on the camera, not the control system). I also like to have the speeds change the longer you hold the direction, which none of the stock modules do. It's just analog to serials and vice versa.

Re: New DSP

Paul Armbruster

The TesiraForte line would be the way to go if you're going BiAmp. They have better processing, lower cost, and have a VoIP version at the lowest going rate in the business. Their echo cancelation blows away ClearOne, and the don't have all of the "reload firmware to get rid of the buzz" (and other strange phenomenon) you get with ClearOne.
That said, I prefer QSC DSPs. Once they introduce their product line competitive with the TesiraForte I'll be switching. It's not that the BiAmp is bad, it's the best out there for the money at the moment,? it's just that the QSC is better.
Hope that helps,
Paul

Ahh.. When I hear CLW without an RF or EX attached I assume the good old wired dimmers.

?

Have you confirmed the load on the dimmer versus the rated maximum? If you¡¯re close/over that may also lead to some odd behavior.

Re: Panasonic Camera

There is a Crestron module in Simpl for the WV-CS854 that is RS485 which may be helpful.

This one is analog. Has anyone done these with RS485 (2 wire or 4 wire) with Pelco?

Not sure of the exact model but I've controlled?Panny WV series cameras via Ethernet.

Controlled?via HTTP get commands, if I recall correctly.

I¡¯ve seen that happen in my home when the there is a short on Cresnet ¨C not every dimmer does it and the first time it happened it frightened me until I realized I had a stray wire on a CNTBLOCK (I can¡¯t remember what was shorting to what¡ but I removed the short an all was well)

I agree. With wireless Crestron panels you can display the WiFi and battery meters in the screen, but Apple doesn't allow access to this info. I like having it there as well.?

I guess it would be nice if it was a choice, though.?
