Tres, you're thinking Nion. xframe88 uses rs485 and a simple set/get protocol utilising three digit ID numbers and two digit values iirc... There is a word document with the serial control protocol that gets installed with xware. I'm fairly sure Chip posted a module to the files section many moons ago.

Re: Error: CConsoleListenSocket::AcceptConnection: unable to disable Nagle algorithm
Nagel ends up getting used to more efficiently transfer data, given that if you want to transmit a single byte, the overhead is huge on a TCP/IP packet.
For a console session, I can see them wanting to. You want the data as it happens, not in "spurts" as the system decides to gather it up and transfer it in a lump according to however Nagel decides.
But, that's just my guess.

Why in the world something on crestron would need to disable the Nagle algorithm and then what would cause it to not be able to is just a mystery.
Im now wondering if something from the outside is causing this error, maybe something on the network is sneding something to its IP address and causing this ?

Tell trueblue something have been broke in the last update. {Paf} Le 10 juin 2013 15:06, "avsystemdesign" <avsystemdesign@...> a crit : **
This has to be a Vtpro-e thing, as Simpl Windows still lets me save version numbers. For some very strange reason Vtpro-e cuts off any file name characters after the period. WTF!?
--- In Crestron@..., "avsystemdesign" <avsystemdesign@...> wrote:
I'm not sure if this is a Vtpro-e thing or Windows... I normally save a new file as v1.1, followed by v1.2 etc. But, Vtpro-e won't do that anymore, it does not see the .2 for example, so instead it saves it as v1 (which can for obvious reason wreck havoc).
Anyone come across this? Is there a patch or workaround?

I've seen this error, but can't for the life of me remember what the solution was. Did you try disconnecting the network cable and monitoring the processor via serial to see if it still happens?
Have you set SHOWEXTRAERRORS ON? That may give something helpful -noob

Look in their manaul for the RATC2 protocol.. It is very straight forward. The trickiest part is connecting over ethernet to the frame and its not really that tricky.
I suggest creating your own user name and password for connecting from the crestron processor.

4.003.0015 is the latest released firmware for MP2E and QM-RMC style processors.
But yes, it is indeed lagging behind the rest of the 2 series so you might want to see if you need a beta firmware for your processor depending on what you're trying to do.
