DMPS.....Set and hold HDMI audio gains?

I cant seem to get the HDMI audio "compensation" to stay where I set it. After a reboot it wipes back to 0. Even when I programmatically set it.

I setup the analog gains every time and have no issue, my usual process is:

Connect via DMPS tool
Setup audio gain
exit DMPS tool
reboot DMPS via text console

The gain always stays, yet with the digital it doesn't. I have the audio set to force basic and raising the gain works when connected live and playing a Blu-ray. I'm running firmware 2.41, working remotely, not trying to upgrade firmware right now. Anyone know if this is a undocumented feature, not possible to set the digital gain, or is there a procedure I'm not privy to.

Thanks

Sean

Re: UPS integration

Mark Conde

We use Falcon UPS in our company.
I don't think they are any more money than the next guy when you compare apple to apples.
We use them on the AV Racks on Yachts, where they are constantly put through the test, switching power from Generator to Shore Power.
The UPS's get a hell of a workout on a day to day basis, Falcon ups's have proven they are worth their weight in gold.

?
Hi All,
I'm at a cross-roads again regarding UPSs. Have used Tripp-lite years ago (had some issues) and recently Middle Atlantic, which I like although they are not 'On-Line' technology.

I recently had a conversation with a Tripp-lite sales guy and he was showing me the new line (SU1000RTXLCD2U, et. al.). On-Line, smaller form-factor, optional net card, lower price.

What are peoples' experience with this line (TripLite)?
What issues have you had?
What other units do people use?
etc.

Thanks,
Chris K..............;)

Re: Simpl+ hex manipulation

Try firing this:

out="\x03\xE7";

Out into Simpl and watch the value in Debugger (in hex mode, of course),
and tell me what you see;)

It's still in the database, just marked as obsolete.

In SIMPL, go to File -> Import Crestron Module. Uncheck the 'Hide

I would start there. Apple has been messing with the HDCP for a little while now. Even i run into issues while trying to test systems with my iPhone. I have noticed some displays give me no issues and others are a pain in the rear. If there is a firmware update for your display it may contain a fix.

The fact that it worked before, and now it doesn't is kind of a mystery to me. The only thing that has changed since I last watched videos from my iPad, was the last software update.

Okay thanks Michael.

They are similar to lift call buttons, just a bit smaller.
Also, lift call buttons have quite a large flange on them so they can't be as closely spaced as I'd like.

Re: Sharp residential display

I received the OK\x0D from it. Unless I sent another power on command about 10s later it would continue to poll power as off, yet still be on.

So basically I had to power on, delay polling for about 15s, and then pulse another power on 10s after the first power on (both receiveing the OK command)

--- In Crestron@..., "Kol Johnson" <kol.mstc@...> wrote:

you get to wait for a long time for it to come back to normal or pull the
power plug to restart it). Most of the commands get a relatively quick
reply but power on takes a long time.

Did you get the reply after the power on command before sending the poll?

Has anyone else had an issue with polling while display is going through its
power on sequence?

Model: LC-80le633u

Seems that if you poll power during this time with POWR? \x0D it responds
with 0\x0D even though its on. If this happens no polling commands work. I
had to buffer serial commands during this time and disable it with a delay
of about 15s.
