Infinet EX Switch and 1 HP Motor
Hi,
I am trying to control a pool pump motor and notice the size limit for motors for the CLW-SWEX-P is 1/2 HP and pump is 1HP. My question is has anyone used or forsee any problems using a CLW-SWEX-P to activate a contactor like a Fuji SC-E1 that has a 120V coil? Thanks |

Re: subpage z-order ft-tps4
Been there, done that... The flip-top simply doesn't have that option. Which tells me that probably a separate team of engineers worked on the flip top model than the 4L. Other than that, I can't imagine why the hardware would be different between the two models.

Weak... The last triggered subpage is what always shows up. You will have to do some tricks with delayed pulses or something... Fabio --- In Crestron@..., "jaaronart" <jaaron7@...> wrote:

There's a standard one out there (CresDB I think) but be warned: Symetrix stuff is odd. Last time I did one it had a very strange characteristic. It only responded to serial commands via the 232 port if it was connected to a network via the LAN. Pull out the LAN cable and wham: "err\x0D" to all commands. They said its a bug but a damn nasty one if you ask me. Ended up leaving my cheap 4 port switch in the back of it just to keep it working.

In fairness to Vivitek, that issue was a Crestron issue, fixed in a SIMPL update (IIRC) about six months ago. It didn't affect just Vivitek, I believe BenQ and others were affected. And yes, increasing numbers of projectors are turning comms off by default when in standby to meet green star requirements. I had a job recently where we had to jump through hoops to get an Epson to play ball once it was placed in standby (something about Communications On in one of the sub menus...). D3 "link" levels between two switches
Heath Volmer
Is there any way to make one load's level always match another?
I have a case where a slave switch needs to turn on it's load, as well as an adjacent load. I thought there was a way to say "level1 = level2". Alternatively, is there a way to somehow respond to the slave button programmatically? I can't see anything, even at the simpl level. Might have to pull this slave out and stick in a keypad or dummy dimmer. Heath Volmer Digital Domain Systems Littleton, CO |
subpage z-order ft-tps4
Does the flip-top TPS4 not have the option for sub-page z-order? I've always preferred the option for "Follow subpage-reference Z-order" for my projects, so I can always be sure of how the subpages will display. The C2N-FT-TPS4 doesn't have that Compile option, but the TPS4L does.
I can't recall if the option was there before and has disappeared or if I'm just thinking of other touchpanels that I've used. Can someone confirm if this option was ever available for the ft-tps4? I just updated everything with Master Installer last night, so I'm wondering if a recent update may have done away with it. |
Re: On site with unfamiliar Denon Receiver
After a quick glance at the API, it appears to be using pretty standard
Denon AVR commands, so I would assume most any modern Denon AVR module would work. . .at least for core features like power, volume, input, etc. From: Crestron@... There is a setting for Epson projectors to leave comm's enabled when the projector is off. Menu > Extended > Standby Mode > Communications On

Re: Touchpanel control from
You could just do a init->equ, with a signal for each of the 9 locations, and each output enables a buffer that links your left/right/up/down/select with the appropriate 'next' action.

So loc(1): left -> goto(3) right -> goto(2) up -> goto(7) down -> goto(4) select -> trigger(1) and so on. Its not clever or easily expandable, but is simple and fairly fast to implement at this size, and easy enough to throw into a module to reuse. --- In Crestron@..., "jrw_96" <jrw_96@...> wrote:

Re: Touchpanel control from
How about an analog inc for left/right that increments by 1 and analog inc for up/down that increments by 3. Run them into a sum. Add conditional logic for a wrap around effect. Obviously there would be a lot of buffers, ors and nors, but I think it could be done.
If value = 1. Left sets it 9 for full wrap, or 3 if you just want to horizontal wrap Right goes to increment Down goes to increment Up sets it 9 for full wrap, or 7 if you just want to vertical wrap If value = 2. Left goes to inrement Right goes to increment Down goes to increment Up sets it 9 for full wrap, or 8 if you just want to vertical wrap ETC...
