You might also try turning off (or on) the Page Buffer, as that can make the panel appear slow.

I am looking for a way to display the counter from a JVC SR-DVM700U on a touch panel. The user should be able to see the elapsed time of the recording, see that it is paused, or playing, etc. Here is the link to the manual, which contains the RS 232 commands in the back:
I need to be able to poll it once per second at least. It feeds back strings in this format 30 31 32 33 34 35 which needs to translate to 01:23:45.
Has anyone here tried to accomplish this before? Tech support told me i'd have to hire a CAIP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I will then present the following and claim it as my own:
Where V, E, and F are respectively the numbers of vertices (corners), edges and faces in a given polyhedron. Any convex polyhedron's surface has the characteristic that
V - E + F = 2.

Try compacting the file system, sometimes there isn't enough space for the ip table. This has worked for me a couple of times with a similar problem.

Also the manual for the CLS-C6 indicates that there is an example program for it on Crestron's site but I can't find it for the life of me. Could some one point me in the right direction? Answer 4001 from TB
2-Series, Problem uploading an IP Table to the Control Processor Published 08/02/2006 01:17 PM | Updated 08/03/2006 09:22 AM Tried to upload new IP Table settings to my Pro 2 running v3.155 and after the Processor reboots the IP Table settings report back the old previous parameters.
This issue has been reported to Engineering.
Whether using Viewport or Toolbox, the Software would report the IP Table information was properly sent to the Control System, however after a reboot the old IP Table info would be present and the newly sent info was gone.
The work around: 1) Use Toolbox to connect to the Control Processor using the [System Info] view. Note: The connection can be either Serial or Ethernet 2) Scroll down to the [Internal Memory Usage] window and observe the [Reclaimable] file size. Note: This problem occurred because there was not enough file space on the Internal Flash for the new IP Table setting. 3) Select [Functions] and then [File System] to reclaim the file space 4) Once the file space is reclaimed, resend the IP Table. Note: The failing unit was having the SimplWindows program loaded to an inserted Compact Flash Card and only the IP Table was being sent to the Internal Flash.

I found problems like this in the past would disappear if I took the same image being used as the background image, and placed the same project resource as an image object all the way back in z order.

Re: PRO2 failure? **UPDATE**
We pulled the processor from the project and I've been running it with a program that consists of an oscillator with a 1 on the input driving an old panasonic project and querying it for power status every second.
It's ran for four days and when I came in today, toolbox had an error that was symbol queue overflow on S-1 (the OSC), over a 1000 instances of that error. The com port lights for the port I was connected to was no longer showing TX/RX either. As soon as I connected to it with toolbox, it started polling the projector IE the com port TX/RX started showing transmission again.
I cleared the error log and have it running again for another test, but what do you think of that?

--- In Crestron@..., "mjrtoo2000" <mjrtoo@...> wrote: I'll try make a long story short, and would like to hear some opinions on the matter.
We inherited a system from another dealer and we altered the programming for the new projector we installed, the existing program has been running for quite some time. The changes were simply to an SIO for the new serial protocol of the new projector, no other programming changes, and everything worked great for about a month.
So a week ago we get a call that the projector doesn't turn on with the Crestron system, we get to site and sure enough you send a command from toolbox and the projector does nothing, no reply at all. Thinking that the projector was locked up we did a hard reset on that and still no communications. Looked in the error log and there were no errors found. Did a hard reset on the Crestron and voil¨¤, it's working again. Since the program has been running for quite some time without problems, and all we did was change the strings in the SIO, I have a hard time believing there is something wrong with programming, so I swapped the projector to an open serial port and reloaded the program for a test, everything worked after a bunch of run throughs and left the site. Get a call today that the projector doesn't work again and you can no longer dial conference calls either....wonderful. Get out there, do some tests through toolbox and sure enough no replies from either the projector (again) or now the gentner units. We reset the processor and they started working again.
All the time the page flip logic and other panel to processor communications seem to be working fine, screen control etc.
So, I guess the question is, what do you think? It seems odd that if it were a hardware issue that restarting the program would fix the issue. But, how would an otherwise working program suddenly stop sending data out a hardware port?
One thing I do remember is that pressing the HW-R button did NOT reset the processor, which is odd, but didn't give it much thought at the time.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
