Re: CrestronXPanel Installer error
I had this the other day for the first time and wound up installing Adobe AIR from then running the CrestronXPanel installer.air package with no issues. On Mon, Jul 13, 2020 at 3:54 AM rockyoucvs <cvs@...> wrote: Thank you for this information, |
Re: CrestronXPanel Installer error
Thank you for this information,
Now I get below error : The application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem.? The certificate does not match the installed application certificate, does not support application upgrades, or is invalid.? Please contact the application author. Guess I'll need to update to latest sw versions, Thanks Best regards Chris |

This is just insane.? I just wasted several hours literally tracking down an iPad just so I can debug these issues.
I've been told that it's being sort of dealt with on the Crestron side of things, but come on man.? Be better Crestron. |
Re: SIMPL Windows - Incompatible Signal Type when commenting out signal using "//"
Yes, it¡¯s the 3.0 version of the Biamp Tesira VoIP controls.?

Re: SIMPL Windows - Incompatible Signal Type when commenting out signal using "//"

Is it a Simpl module? There is probably a symbol inside with an ambiguous input (Could accept serial or analog).? You could create a dummy signal and use the force analog or any symbol that explicitly uses an analog join as an output.? SIMPL Windows - Incompatible Signal Type when commenting out signal using "//"
I'm encountering something weird - if I try to complete a symbol using ctrl+i, I'm getting the message
"Please note there are still incomplete items that SIMPL Windows did not have enough information to be able to complete.? ?As such this data must be completed manually.? Typically this is due to parameters that do not have default values defined".?? The unused DIgitals and serials have "//" on them, as expected.? The analogs don't. If I manually add "//" to an analog to complete the signal, the following error occurs: "Invalid Signal name or incompatible signal types.? Cannot connect to this signal here".?? I've not see this happen before; any ideas?? This is preventing me from compiling and loading, obviously, because the symbols aren't complete. If I delete all other symbols from the program, this symbol does complete properly.? Obviously this isn't a real fix, but just additional information. Thank you, MIke |

Re: Compiling Error Cisco SX80 V1.4 Crestron Module

There is some funkiness happening with Cisco lately. Usually, I re-import archive the module, re-sync my database, and then recompile the code. But I've heard that the latest database is wreaking havoc with Cisco. I've always used the Cisco 2.3.9 module. What
Cisco module are you using?

Compiling Error Cisco SX80 V1.4 Crestron Module
Have a program that has been running on a CP3 since 2016 with no service or upgrades.? Firmware is still from 2016. There is a new POC and they requested a program change.? Something simple, but I am receiving a compiling error when I am trying to upload.? It looks like the .clv is missing from the Cisco module.? I have the archive and the .clv is not in there.? Crestron is having a hard time looking for this version of the module since it is way old.? Everything is sitting on 2016 firmware, even the SX80.? There is no way the SX80 will be updated to new firmware, nor is there money in the project for the program for us to try rewrite the code.? Which, still probably will not work if the SX80 is on outdated firmware.? I have a link to the error message I am receiving.
Thanks for the assist. |

Recent Crestron App Update to version 1.05.63Answer ID: 1000682??|? Access Level: Everyone??|? Updated: 07/09/2020 08:29 AM
?
On Monday 7/6, Crestron released a new version of the iOS app (1.05.63) which included support for Super Retina resolution. Projects previously designed to compensate for not having Super Retina support may have scaling issues. With this release this would have to be addressed at the project level.? Following the launch, we discovered additional issues and we are urgently working to release a version that resolves them. We have removed the current Crestron App for download from the App Store, pending a fix for the issues. Our expected submittal date for the updated app is no later than Monday, July 13, 2020. ?We estimate 3 to 5 days for Apple to approve. As part of our native support for Retina displays, some object scaling will have changes from previous versions. If you wish to remain on the previous app version, please turn off auto update to prevent an update of the Crestron App. We apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused. Please be assured that we are working diligently to address the issues. -- Ryan Baldwin CEO | XS Design Studios rbaldwin@... 760.712.2240 |
