a smoke from my CP2E..
Switched on my projector yesterday and?in few seconds?I see the smoke comming from CP2E. Of course the processor stopped working. The green power LED started to blink only, low voltage at the cresnet. After disasembling of the porcessor and I found I/O chip burned.
? My question: Is there any chance someone has a photo of the chip U41 ? I want to buy a new one. I pulled the chip out and CP2E works again. Of course without Versiports now.

CP3 IP-ID Issues
Have a system that has been up and running for about 7 months no issues, CP3 with some TSW touch screens and iPads controlling it. Recently one of the TSW was acting strange, sending commands to a projector but the join wasn't even attached to the projector.... weird stuff. Ended up changing the IP-ID and it started working again. Then the next day the iPads start saying "System not found" go there again change the IP-ID of the iPads and they start working, changed the IP-ID back to original and still working..... now the next day.... same thing iPads say "no system found".... Heading back on site Monday any advice? |

Autonomics, Sonos....
Is Autonomics MMS2 or 5 still a good player for the money?? I don't want to offer my clients a product that has been replaced by newer more cost effective technology. It seems that besides from the Crestron Integration part, even Sonos can give Autonomics a run for a lot less money. Your opinion will be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance! |

Gimp for editing, InkScape for creation. I've used Photoshop for creation (and editing) in the past, but I prefer InkScape. I've even created some InkScape python plugins for automating graphics exports.

URL Scheme
Hi guys First time trying to recall app using url scheme. I have been trying to do it with prowl thru push notifications but I can't get it to launch at all ever, or any other app for that matter, using android or ios. I'm assuming I'm just over looking something. On both ios and android I have even tried to just use safari and chrome to launch by doing Crestron://, crestron://, Crestron-app:// along with other apps as well sonos://, skype:// which I saw online people say it should launch app that way too. I know I'm missing something just at a loss right now. Thanks Kevin? |

Update the firmware on the MMS and that should do it. ?

I would recommend starting with an MP2E.? Cheap as dirt, has ethernet, has audio, does some video switching.? I see an auction on ebay right now for $45.? Can't beat that to learn almost all of the basics in one box.? With xPanel you can do smart graphics and you get the bonus of learning how Crestron deals with audio levels and A/V switching.? IIRC programming an MP2E to switch is exactly like programming a DM switch.? At that price buy 2 and learn EISC too. Pretty ideal. |

Can you change the properties of an existing button? I want to use the horizontal tab button for Volume Up/ Mute State/ Volume Down but it currently doesn't give me the ability to set a different icon for a different state and right now that's really all I'm looking to do (for starters).
