We took a look at Lode, but it doesn't support Spotify or Pandora yet. Most of our clients use Spotify and want the ability to search / browse the catalog from the Crestron GUI. The Autonomic MMS is the only product I have come across that does this. With Sonos integration you can only get Spotify playlists, you cant search for a song or artist from the Crestron media player.

I hope Lode gets on board with Spotify and Pandora as I would like an alternative to Autonomic.

Good to know. I'm actually dealing with that right now with boxes from Cable Vision, but it looks like HDCP is staying high all the time as well.?

True most recovery however you could be one of the unfortunate ones.? But personally, I am glad people are taking it seriously. All it takes if for the complication rate to be slightly higher than normal for the medical system to become overwhelmed.

FYI: Tom Hanks is currently in Australia with the Coronavirus. ? I am older than Tom Hanks so I am in the group that is more more likely to have serious complication.

In my area, HDCP detect is more reliable.? Many of the cable boxes around here output a black picture when they are off.? However, all turn HDCP off when they are off and HDCP on when they are on.

I hope so... but I'm not sure how much that will help me or not yet.? I booked through Expedia and so my round trip is trough 2 different airlines.? SF to MCO is on Alaska, and Return flight was 2 legs on United.? I might get credit for each one, but then when I re-book in the fall, the available flights through those same companies might not be the same.? I'm not sure if the credit comes from the airline or from Expedia?? Luckily, the flight to Orlando was 1/3rd the cost of the flight to Connecticut where Master's was when I last attended.? similar amount of air-miles though, but getting to Hartford was expensive compared to MCO.? I have to find out how all this works, as I've not had to cancel flights before that I've booked myself.? I do know I got shafted by Expedia on a hotel reservation that I've cancelled though, so I hope it's better than that.

BTW, the way Crestron's email sounded, it's not even clear if the re-schedule in the fall will be in Orlando or somewhere else.? They said they will be in contact in future about "Registration Fee's, Hotels, dates and locations".? Oh how I loved when they used to do the regional Master's and I was able to just pack up the car and drive to Southern CA.? I could take the whole family and it didn't cost a dime extra since the drive cost and hotel was the same either way.? The good ol days...

I don't think people are treating it like zombie outbreak, but they are taking precautions.? Just take Italy as an example, 5 days ago there was only 100 death and today there are 1000.?

BioGen in MA had a conference where one person transmitted to 97 (or something along there).? The younger people can deal with it better (doesn't mean it isn't painful) but those who are older or have immune compromise bodies might not make through it.? I recently learn from work that two of my co-worker are immune compromised out of 20 staff.? I certainly don't want that on my conscious if I got others sick.? Those school/company that are telling their workers to stay home they want to protect their workers and also it is an public image as well. That's my two cent.?

If "Video Detected" means that it's actually being routed to an output, that could actually be really useful in some cases.? I had no idea what that meant, and was confused about how it differed from "Sync Detected".

Just got the email too, this kind of sucks, I'm a bit disappointed in a way.? Now I have to set aside another week of time to go and try to schedule around it again.? Plus I'm not sure what this means for flight arrangements (I'll have to spend a day just trying to see if I can bank the flight or get a refund or if I'm screwed)...? I may be in the position of having to pay for airfare twice this year now (from west coast to east coast, not a small flight).? Argg!? I guess I'm glad that they made a decision early enough that not all is lost.

Why is everyone treating this crap like it's the beginning of a zombie outbreak or something?? It doesn't seem to be much worse than the flu from most of the information and opinions I've seen.? This is cold and flu season anyway, so this is par for the course this time of year, people get sick.? Am I the only one that is only mildly concerned about it?? Seems there are too many people and organization that seem to be in full panic mode.? The economy needs to keep churning or things WILL get way worse than any flu real soon, considering a not-insignificant amount of the population lives paycheck to paycheck.

afaik, sync detected means there is a signal present at the input.
video detected is a wrong named signal that means that that input is being routed somewhere (and doesn't matter if it has a valid video signal or not). it was better to be called "video in use" or something like that.

With toggle only cable boxes connected to a DM (or NVX) I have been using the "Source_Sync_Detected" feed back from the card for power status. Is there any difference between that and the "Video_Detected" signal from the DM? is one better than the other?
