Re: Latest version of Samsung EXlink protocol

With resi-model Samsung displays, I've had to resort to using 1-way IR.? IIRC, some use TTL-level voltage (0-5V) rather than standard RS-232 (-13V - +13V)

Just a heads up...we've been having issues as of late with this years TVs.? They will turn on and off just fine, but after a while they will not turn off via ExLink.? Pulling the power cord will reset them and they'll work again for a while.? We have resorted to converting a number of them to IR.

If possible, I'd appreciate the support!

Re: New BSS Modules (3-series)

I did a couple systems using them in early December. I haven't heard of any issues with either system.

I, for one, appreciate the sarcasm. I also appreciate that this document doesn't say if tip is positive or negative.?

Re: Alternative to Atlona?

Check out the AVPro Connect MX88-AUHD. I have had a couple on my test bench, and a few out in the wild now. No complaints from techs.

Re: New BSS Modules (3-series)

Andrew Welker

We've been using them to great success, although I modified the central IP module to accept an IP address, port, and node ID's as string inputs as well as parameters. This makes it easier to use in multiple systems, as you don't have to recompile to change the IP address for the processor.

Re: Crestron - SmartThings Integration Code is Now on Github

Ignore that - missed a chunk of the required setup out :-)

Re: Crestron - SmartThings Integration Code is Now on Github

Jay - I assume I need to setup a port forward as the URL which is generated by the module is "
Error 500: Internal Server Error? URI /oauth/authorize" - any ideas?? Do I need to setup a port forward to the Hub or processor?

Cheers, Rick
