Hi;

Check files section for latest documents from Sony support. ?Yes, IP control is possible. ?Make sure you find the "Simple IP" option in the TV menu and turn it on so the TV will listen while in standby.

Note this is also a good idea if you want to use serial control.

Have a system that has been up and running for several years.

Dealer reports that after a forced update to 4 U-Verse boxes he can no longer press numeric buttons consecutively. So he can enter "343" but can't enter "33" or "44." As long as enters a new digit in between the others it works fine every time, but not when the same number has to get pressed twice.

Using Cisco CIS430 driver from the Crestron database.

Anyone have any ideas?

a client has a Corio C2-800 from TVone , it's an old model, the switcher has been locked making it non accessible via web interface or controllable via RS232.

I have used one in our master bedroom in a 5.1 confit and used one in the in law living room in a 3.1 config.  

5.1 = playbar, (2) play-1, and a Sonos sub
3.1 = playbarr, and a Sonos sub

I have been very happy with both.  The wireless sucked, but once I turned it off and went wired it has been very good.  I have not used the Crestron module yet to control it.

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone else has this error.? I get his error when i added a second Yamaha EX-A820 IP modules.? I have added two Yamaha modules on an AES and never had a problem.? My current NVRAM size is 128.44 KBytes when I add two modules. With only one module it is 64.22 KBytes.

So does Oliver’s () IP driver…discrete play pause, with feedback, keyboard search, track progress, automatic reconnection since it uses Bonjour finind the AirPlay name not a static IP address…so Apple updates do not break it

Gee really? Never would've thought to try seeing as every time it doesn't like your syntax it throws up that exact help info... except the syntax info provided is either incomplete, incorrect, or just doesn't work.

Anybody ever use simpl debugger on a 3 series? Does it even work? What is the syntax needed because it's definitely not as advertised in the help info, or what would seem intuitive based on other console commands and syntax.

I have a separate exFAT partition for all my data so that if either windows or mac dies I can still get to it. It's formatted in such a way that its readable/writeable by both OS's natively. Also makes it easier to wipe the OS and reformat if needed.

I have used command prompt in win10 to do “subst”. ?This is similar to mapping a drive, which does not work, but apparently the command line method is done at a lower lever and does work.

example:

C:\WINDOWS\system32>subst q: \\mac\home\desktop\crestron

sets up Q: drive which is located on my mac desktop so I can use it in both/either xp and/or 10. ?I keep my userdb’s in there. ?I have done similarly with other folders on the desktop that hold customer files. ?I made a batch file and need to run it when I launch windows. ?I right click on the windows start logo and select command prompt (admin)

SimplWin compiles just fine unless I forget to run the batch file or try to open the file from someplace other than the drive letter, shown in network area,under my computer.

Yup Weird. It shows up under This PC like expected and the file icon is the simpl icon yet if I click on it it opens Simpl and the Simpl pops up "File Error - Cannot open file".
