So it is definitely confirmed that adding motion sensors to the
system will lock it up?
The INITIALIZE input on the keypad emulation module does a good job
of refreshing the two line text and feedback.
I have been working with Crestron for the past few weeks to get this
resolved. 3 or 4 separate sites have an FBP system running all with
the same symptoms and I'm being thrown on wild goose chases checking
wires, loading demo programs, and burning bridges with my alarm
integrators.
I should be getting an Ademco test unit in my office here to play
around with. I am looking forward to seeing what happens.
Thanks for the heads up. Is it time to move on from Ademco?

I've fucking had it with this 128FBP. I just spent all weekend
just
trying to get reliable keyypad emulation feedback to no avail. The
panel does work great with no motions or door contacts hooked up to
it (you can have plenty of zones programmed). Once the
panel/processor starts to chatter with motions going on/off it
starts to hang. For example if I walk around the house with my
laptop (running xpanel) and trigger motions and door contacts,
within 2 or 3 times the feedback on the kepad eventually just stays
on one state (Fault 004 Back Door) It then takes a couple of other
motions to go on/off and eventually the module updates and all is
well for the next 3 or 4 times. I'm running the newest v3.0
crestron module with a pro2. It does say in the module.pdf that
there is a refresh command you can send to update the 2 lines of
text on the panel, however I cannot find that in the argument
definition. All I see is Initialize or Poll. I've already set the
panel to factory defaults 3 times. The panel does arm and disarm
instantly with no motions or contacts hooked up to it. Once
motions
and contacts are hooked up that is when things become unreliable.
I'm just desparate to find an ultra reliabe alarm panel to work
with. All I'm looking for is instant keypad emulation
control/feedback. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
