I have an existing NVX installation running now on 4 mismatched Cisco switches, that is out of capacity.? We are expanding the system and as such we have stood up a Netgear AV network with a M4350 10G at the core and M4250s at each IDF.? The Core M4350 will be handling DHCP duties.? Here's my question:? Currently the CP3N is handling DHCP, which has its scope.? My plan is to connect the Director to the new network so it has an IP address assigned from there, and then move all the existing endpoints over to the new network.? Am I missing anything with this?? My assumption is that the Director will still see the devices, and retain control.? The only outlier I can think of is potentially changing the IP address of the director in the SIMPL program.? If I am not clear at any of this let me know, does this sound right?
