Just checking with others...
I'm told that this new TSR firmware is only addressing HOME issues and there's no benefit to it with custom systems.
The release notes do not make note of this, nor does it indicate whether it can or should be used with units in custom systems.
I think these points should be spelled out if there are any limitations...
