I have a hospitality client where we integrated Fusion on-prem and Opera on-prem to sync room check in/check out status. It has worked very well. Opera has since moved to in the cloud and our on-prem Fusion server communicates to an Opera gateway host computer.

The Fusion server is getting older and the cost of a new on-prem device is quite high. The plan is to move to Fusion in the cloud hosted by Crestron. If so, we believe that we will need to create NAT rules for the Fusion server to talk to the Opera gateway interface.

Has anyone else done anything similar integrating Opera in the Cloud with Fusion in the Cloud? Are there any other strategies/pitfalls to be aware of? Is there a way to communicate directly from Fusion Cloud to Opera Cloud? The only integration we need is using the Micros Scheduling Tab that is in the Fusion Configuration section.
