You have to use the CEN-RFGW-EX with MLX-2, none of the other gateways will work with that remote.
The CEN-RFGW-EX was originally just for EX devices. Crestron figured out they could update it with firmware to add the ER devices as well, so they did.
The CEN-ERFGW only does ER devices.
