I've got a network with 5 NVX-351 in transmitter mode and 8 NVX 351 in receiver mode on dedicated VLAN using a Netgear M4300 switch. ?Everything has the latest firmware including the Netgear switch. ?Every NVX device (port 3) has fiber home run to the SFP+ ports in the netgear switch. ?I'm using the Profile Template "Crestron DigitalMedia AV network" in the switch. ?The 4k video and audio is working well. ?Each NVX 351 has its own IP address and can be accessed via the web interface. ?The NVX devices are getting DHCP from the router. ?The switching is controlled through a Pro3. ?
I tried to connect a CAT6 cable to port1 or port 2 on the NVX 351 (receiver) to get a direct internet connection for the smart TV's. ?I do not get an IP address from either port. ?I tried changing the management port to port 1 or 2 but then I lose the IP address completely on the NVX 351. ?Any thoughts?

Hey Bob,
Ensure that ¡®Port Selection¡¯ is turned off. Having this option enabled will enable an ¡®Air-Gap¡¯ network environment (for loose terminology).?
Whist this option disabled, you should then see the NVX device pass-through the DHCP service and provide your display an IP address in the same VLAN as the NVX unit. I would also suggest to connect the display via the Copper RJ45 Port 2 connection.?
