Recently did an install and the client had complaints about getting disconnect messages on the touchpanel daily.? Didn't help that this was the CEO's boardroom either.? Crestron had me run a driver update on the Flex PC (CCS-400_1.14.00.155.exe) and update the TS-1070 panel to the latest firmware.? I also had to remove the PUF saved on the Flex PC for the TS-1070 so that it wouldn't downgrade on its own.? That seemed to make the disconnect messages go away, at least for 2 weeks so far.
I was told that the chipset used in the direct connect adapter has poor driver support in Windows 11, and that's why there seem to be so many problems.? We moved to using direct connect since we used to have so many issues going over the network, but now it seems like network has become more reliable.? Unfortunately, our only option in this case was direct connect because of the client network.
