Re: Crestron PAC2 SIMPL Windows

I have an old module I wrote about 15 years ago, that allows a D3Pro lighting system to emulate a Centralite Elegance or Jetstream lighting system. Back then, most "lesser" automation systems, including RTI, had drivers for Centralite which was popular at the time.

After the module is added to the D3Pro program, the Crestron loads and scenes are "connected" to virtual Centralite equivalents. Then the Crestron processor is connected to the third-party processor using a serial port. There's no charge for it, but email me if you'd like a copy.

Many years ago someone also told me about a custom RTI driver that could import an RSD from a D3Pro program, and communicated over ethernet. The advantage of that is it would be much less work on the D3Pro side, however I've never actually seen or used it myself.

Alright, I have a D3 program made for loads, scenes and what not. Goal is to go

I am not versed in Crestron at all yet and they said goodluck have a great time
figuring it out.

I suppose the main question is can we just load D3 and put the RX strings in D3
and have them trigger scenes that way? If not, do I load the D3 and make a
simpl windows and load that as well to trigger scenes that way and how do I
accomplish that..? I've added everything into SIMPL but cannot find anything on
the PAC2 slots to trigger scenes unless I need to only load a simpl program and
add loads accordingly and forget D3. Any and all pointers will be appreciated!
