VC4 and CrestronGo

Is anybody here successfully using CrestronGo with a VC4 on a virtual machine?
I am having a hard time getting my iPad to connect to a VC4 instance running on AlmaLinux 8.6 using Oracle's virtualbox.
It's been hardened as per instructions, I can successfully connect Xpanels and even debug using Simpl Debugger. Everything works fine, except CrestronGo.
?
I have loaded the file (.Core3z) along with the program, but my iPad will simply not connect... it just keeps spinning endlessly with "Connecting To System". I also tried uploading the UI file directly to the iPad and checked the "Use Local Project" to no avail...
?
Inside CrestroGo, the connection parameters seem to be all correct (HTTP port 443, CIP 41796, and Room ID properly filled).
I also used the iNetTools app from my iPad to check that it can ping the VC4 server and also tested that the usual ports are open: 41796, 443, 80
?
Everything seems to be configured just the way it needs to be and the firewall is not blocking any critical port.
?
Interestingly enough, if I take the iPad project and save-as xpanel and try to connect with the same IP-ID, then it works. This tells me the program is properly loaded and is listening. ?But for whatever reason, the CrestronGo just doesn't work.? Is there a trick that I have been missing here?

So here I post the initial question again: Is anybody here *successfully* using CrestronGo with a VC4 on a virtual machine?
