I'm looking for a battery operated sensor that will be triggered when someone is standing within ~1 foot of the sensor.? A normal motion sensor won't work for this application because it will sense when a person is much farther away.? Protocol really doesn't matter.? It could be Zigbee, Z-Wave, or WiFi.
Anyone ever see anything like this?
