* Cheaper cost
* Smaller size (than the 8SW8) - should be same size as an IO8/AO8
* Would follow same programming as the relays built into the processors. One digital to turn the relay on/off as opposed to rising discrete inputs for 8SW8
* Makes my DIN enclosures look more sexy
