I've been told to integrate this into a Council Chambers build. No published API or control inputs. All documented control is either from the local web interface, Epiphan Cloud, or the touchscreen built into the unit. Boo.
Before I start doing it, has anyone had some success reverse engineering any IP control protocol from the unit? From a quick look it looks like it has a basic web api and uses websocket communications on the admin page. I'm looking to get control over starting/stopping transcription and getting the current transcription status. As a bonus I would also like to get the current transcription output stream URL so I can scrape that too and get the text output from the unit live to re-distribute to the Youtube stream for the Council Chamber so they have proper subtitles and not permanently baked in subtitles.
