Is there a way to trigger Alexa events through the Crestron control system?
There are so many devices which are Alexa enabled and part of that ecosystem, but there are certain times when controlling them via voice may not work out for a homeowner.? I'm pretty specifically thinking of putting in some Alexa enabled light switches which then allows the client to setup scenes for their lights.
So, then I would want to recall that scene from the control system.? Either using a generic name (scene1, scene2, etc.) or a specific name (theater bright, theater dim, watching a movie, etc.).? I'm pretty much fine with any means to reach from Crestron to Amazon to make Alexa control possible.
I already have done voice control from Alexa into Crestron to get some actions to occur, but wanted to know if going the other way was possible and if so, how to accomplish it.? TIA!
