I agree if security is involve, you have to be more careful.? But the majority of our stuff is just AV control which about the most someone could do it turn the volume up.? If someone is hacking into Crestron, you have a bigger problem with your network security.?? I think of Crestron as a honeypot.? If I see someone is hacking Crestron (and yes I do keep logs of that type of stuff), I know there is action needed.? Otherwise, they may go on undetected.
But with Crestron using a very old obsolete unsupported version of Visual Studio, should you really be using Crestron in a place that requires security.
