I have a 10 tsr310¡¯s at home and they fit into 3 categories
1) work fine, show up in tool box via usb, host name shows up correctly on my network, can push updates over WiFi. 8 out of 10 do this
2) work fine as above for a short period of time but loose their association. Host name does not show up on network.
3) load to the setup screen but don¡¯t show it toolbox, will join the network but can not update over WiFi
For 2 and 3 tb suggested a reload. To do this you hard reset the device 11 times in succession. The device then goes through a recovery procedure. I could get this to work for type 1 but for type 2 and 3 I had no luck and had to rma.
In my mind something deep in the underlying firmware is corrupted for 2 and 3.
Interestingly I think I may have cussed that corruption by trying to push their first firmware update via WiFi rather than by usb.
