Shelly is great and with Tasmota even better. I've made a modification to Tasmota firmware which allows Shelly to communicate with Davis meteostation. Based on actual information from meteostation Shelly drives output relay. No control system needed (sorry Crestron).

My latest article,?"Shelly Offers Easy-to-Use Products for Smart Home Hobbyists and Professionals¡±?is being published by the good folks at Residential Tech Today Magazine on their web site. Shelly makes some very useful IoT products that Crestron programmers and integrators will discover are easy to use, and inexpensive, problem solvers that can be easily integrated into their smart home designs.

If you:

  • Need a relay in a remote location for a fraction of the price of a CEN-IO-RY
  • Need to capture a contact closure at a remote location
  • Need to turn an existing fixture into a smart fixture
  • and more...
Shelly has products to solve these problems.

In addition, there is a free driver I wrote (that can be downloaded from my GitHub) that allows Crestron programmers to integrate control of Shelly products into a Crestron system.
