Local is a virtual signal that the compiler reserves (along with 0 and 1), although I don't know how it's used.? I would try Project/Resync Project, or go back to an older version of your SMW, otherwise contact Crestron.
Did you use the signal list function at the bottom of the logic tree in simpl?
