I haven't used that particular panel but had a similar issue with the access series. When first used I had it communicate over RS232 but after a hard power cycle I had nothing. I tried Christie support but they were useless and pointed me at the RS232 command document so I contacted Vestel support. After a bit of back and forth (including pointing me at the same document), their technical guy got in touch and told me they'd updated the protocol to add a login after power loss but hadn't updated the command documentation for this. Anway, To gain control of the screen again, I had to send the following string: SETUSERSECLEVEL ADMIN 1234\r\n The login is set in the menu somewhere but by default its ADMIN and 1234. I can't guarantee it'll work for that screen but it's worth a shot. One thing I found was it didn't give any feedback at all to any commands I sent until I sent that string so there was no clues that this was the problem. Good Luck!
