If all you¡¯re doing is sending keystrokes why not just use the USB HID port on the DM endpoint? That is one of the few things the port is truly useful for and doesn¡¯t require any extra hardware (save for, of course, the USB cable)

I know the FLIRC, but using IR is exactly what i would like to avoid with using the IRUSB. Communication using the IRUSB is LAN-only.
