Re: Laptop labels in Conference room

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Really depends on the user. In any case the label near the actual input should (a) be there and (b) match the label on the user interfaces

?

Laptop 1 and Laptop 2 are the most common.

?

Front and Rear (or head and foot if you want to be fancy) ¨C but this can open deep philosophical discussions about which is ¡°Front¡±/¡±Head¡± and which is ¡°Rear¡±/¡±Foot¡±

?

Cardinal directions are usually more confusing than helpful unless there¡¯s a clear orientation guidestar in the room or you¡¯re doing a room somewhere where people generally have an above average sense of direction (e.g. army, boy scouts)

?

I try to avoid using ¡°HDMI¡± as an input name because it takes nontechnical users more processing time to equate HDMI == the thing on my laptop.

Subject: [Crestron] Laptop labels in Conference room

We are going to add a second HDMI cable to our conference rooms.? What is the naming convention you all use for labels on both the HDMI cable and the TP buttons if you have more then one HDMI cable??

?

I am thinking HDMI one & HDMI two.
