HDBASET out of the DMPS3-4K-200

So here's a interesting issue that we can't seem to resolve.
First test system DMPS3-4K-150C? Epson Pro L 1100U
We mocked this up in our office to test the HDBASET direct out of the DM port of the Crestron DMPS3-4K-150.? Modify our Simpl program to replace the RMC controller with the HDBT Receiver, move the projector serial strings, turn on the HDBT communication option inside the Epson projector menu and boom, we have great video and control.
So next step was for us to put it in a live classroom environment to see reliability, etc.
Live system DMPS3-4K-200C Epson Pro L 1100U (same as used in the 150 test)
We make the same changes in our Simpl program and no luck.? We have no control of the projector.? If I manually turn the projector on, I see the video. ?
Debugger shows all the commands going to the projector, but nothing coming back from it.
Spent the day with Crestron on the phone and remoted in to see what was happening.? We went to another room that has the same configuration (DMPS3-4K-200, etc) same results.? No luck.? So we've eliminated a single defective DMPS3-4K-200. ?
Side note, that the systems are installed with a RMC-4k-100C and work great. ? The move to test the HDBASET scenario is in preparation for us as we move forward.
Crestron rolled the firmware back, etc but no luck.? I've run this past some of my contacts and they are also stumped.
I'm at a loss on this, so any thoughts would be helpful.
