Re: TSD-2020 to DGE-2 via DM-16x16

Do you have the correct (old) firmware in the RMC-SCALER-C connected to the 2020?

I haven't tried it with a DM frame in the mix, but that was a required ingredient (and it is called out on online help) for a DGE2->DM-TX->RMC-SCALER-C->TSD-2020 install.

Subject: [Crestron] TSD-2020 to DGE-2 via DM-16x16

Crestron says it should work no problem and has even RMA'd what turned out to be a perfectly good DGE-2, but the touch just barely works and only if you use 3 fingers. Even then it doesn't register the touch or release, and as soon as you let go the cursor jumps to the top of the screen and starts creeping left.

There's also a Windows login popup from the DGE-2 that Crestron said should only show up when you try to use third party mice.

DGE-2 -> DMC-HD card -> DM-16x16 RPS -> DMCO-5555 -> *any length of cable* -> Scaler-C -> TSD-2020

The USB is routed properly in the program, and if you plug the TSD-2020 USB directly into the DGE-2 it works fine. All firmware is current, and all symptoms are identical with two separate DGE-2s. I haven't replaced the micro USB from the 2020 but have replaced the USB from the DGE-2 to the DMC-HD.

Maybe it's just a new "feature" in the current firmware?
