I was testing some old CNMSX-AV Processor along with LC-1500B touch panel, I noticed when I upload a file to the LC-1500B, I will end up with a message of "Flash Memory 2000....." ?I had to power cycle the touch panel to get the panel to run the program. ?I figure I might have some old firmware in the LC-1500B so I download the firmware version LC1500 which is 5.00.80 version.
During the upload of the firmware, to loaded both BB50080a.csf and BB50080b.csf. ?The loading was ok and I got a upload finished message from Viewport. ?Afterward, I lost the panel. ?The panel can't communicate with the processor via Cresnet nor it can go into setup using power cycle. ?I end up with a paper weight.
Does any one have experience with this situation and know if there is a way out. ?Tech Support told me the only way to send the unit back for repair and pay the repair bill. ?I don't think my company will pay to repair such an old touch panel and now I am one touch panel less from my testing tools.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.
