I've been using Crosspoints for my party mode for some time with no issues. ?I use a separate Econn for each of the 24 rooms in my module and handle the disconnect/connect from there. ?I use basically the same CCross as I do for all my room controls, just pared down to Volume +/- power/ and analog source. ?From there I use a simple module to create a list of all rooms available to which the user can toggle the rooms they want involved, then send the current rooms source or adjust volume or turn off the room(s). ?Simple functionality for the user to reduce the chance of user error/confusion.
This all sits in an interface wrapper module to keep it clean.

Subject: [Crestron] Crosspoints and Party Mode
?
Happy Friday All,
I've been reading some of the other threads recently about crosspoints and it sparked me to want to throw my question out there. I've been using crosspoints a lot lately and have gotten a pretty good handle on what I want to accomplish with them and this has been rather exciting for me. But the one thing that I'm still stuck on is doing a party mode and/or sharing sources. I was wondering if some of you crosspoint guru's have some advice/knowledge about this specific topic that you would be willing to share with those of us who are still novices in the realm of crosspoints. Is there a good way to do this with crosspoints or is it less messy to just buffer that part out?
Thank you for your time,
Nate L.
