I don't recognize the model number, but if it has a DB9, look in the manual and see if it makes any mention of "MDC" or "Multiple Display Control", in which case it does NOT use the EX-link.
For MDC, the 400/460 module in I2P will get you started, but you're best off just copying the SIO and checksum generator from that module and pasting it into your own code.
