It was pretty cool. There were 11 other bands and we all played acoustic
sets at every stop for the locals. The whole thing was broadcast on CBC
radio. They were making a documentary but last I heard the company
shooting lost all the raw film on their HDD (using a normal external drive
with NO backup.....). There was also a lot of partying/drinking on the
train, lol.
I've spent most of my life living around and enjoying the mountains, but
seeing them from a train was a whole new experience. It did get SUPER
boring after Edmonton though...

True that! The band did a tour of Canada with CBC on "tracks on tracks"
last year. Some of the most amazing scenery I've seen in my entire life.
They have panoramic cars that are mind boggling to see the mountains
through.
