I would double-check that if I were you. Pretty sure they've pulled Studio
from the class schedule.

I have no real intentions of using Studio either but the class I want to
take requires it. Thanks for you input.

I ran into problems with the SQL server not being able to start and
spent days fighting with it. At the same time I installed it on another
machine and it worked fine. Both were W7 64 bit systems but I never could
get it to work on one of the PC's. A couple weeks later I attended Crestron
Masters class and was told it could very well be a hardware issue. They
said they experienced situations where 2 identical Dell machines with
everything setup the same, one would install and work fine and the other
would not. FWIW my machine that would not work was a Dell 17" XPS so not a
500 laptop. The instructor "Yoda" said flat out " If you want a good PC buy
a Mac!" because they have better hardware and more consistent production.
If the hardware is not stable or predictable the software won't work right
either.
That said after trying the Suite for a couple days on the machine that
was working I decided I did not have time to work thru and around all the
issues I was running into. I'm sure some of it was a lack of training on it
but I've got to make a living and get jobs turned out so maybe a year from
now I will look at it again.
Good luck.
