Re: Recover .vtz file from MTX3/PTX3, possible?

If you can connect to toolbox, have you try the file manager option.
Extract all the gui folder and send it to the remote.

I have done that in the past for some panel but not sure if it's works on
those remote

Hi all,

I have a client that we don't have the code for that ruined their PTX3
remote. I think I can still connect with toolbox, but is there a way to get
the compiled file out of it to load to a new remote?

WE don't have the VTP to recompile and do not want to change anything,
just replace the remote.

Any ideas about console command to get the file?

I looked at the project tab in toolbox on my own PTX3 and don't see any
option for extract or recover. I swear I have seen that option on either
processors or other touchpanels.

Any tips or tricks to try to get the compiled code to reload on
replacement?

Thanks
Jon
