Re: Crestron - Ipad ... Analog Value ... & Error Log ...

Chip

Yep - ditch that and the (IIRC) the TCP/IP client symbols that it's attached to.

In configure view in SIMPL Windows, double-click on your Ethernet slot, and select "Crestron Mobile" from the menu that comes up.

Hi Chip,

I'm using the CRESTRON IPHONE AND IPOD TOUCH INTERFACE V2.0 (cm)

Is there an another one to use ?

Where is it located in the symbol library ?

Many thanks, This will help a lot...

Ditch the iPhone/iPad interface modules you're using and use the Crestron Mobile native symbol instead...

Hi guys,

I'm using 2 Ipads in a system where i have a PRO2 and a QM-RMC inter-connected...

I'm getting those messages in the error log from the processor :

67. Error: Module S-2.2:S-1 : S2_iPhone_XML_Processor_v1_0_0 at line 155: Output Array __XML2ANA overflow. Index = 27198. Bounds = 999

From what i've seen so far, it's inside a SIMPL+ module inside the IPHONE IPOD TOUCH symbol...

Since i'm using the iphone/ipod touch symbol... there is no way (in my opinion) i can be over 2000 dig signals and 1000 analog signals...

From what i've dug so far

Turns out that you can only use the Analog IN/OUT for animation purposes...

(TB : 4874)

5) To manually enter Signal Names, select the " + " sign next to the Digitals, Analogs or Serials directly on the [iPhone and iPod Touch interface] module.
Note: Analog values are supported for Animated objects only. See below under Issues Found and Reported for a work around if needing to send an Analog value.

Now I'm curious about the need for 1000 analog join number to do 1000 animations...

I was using some analog join to send/receive Temp, dvr channel number, volume bar level, and animations...

I've commented out those analog values and left only the analog value for 1 or 2 animation (only 90 frames - it's for channel icons)

But i still got the same error in the pro2 logs...

Anyone any ideas ?

Thanks
