Had issue a while ago, turned out to be network related, put kscape and crestron on different VLANs no issues since in 2+ years or so.

Have a number of DM systems in the field with multiple Kscape players without issue. 16x16, 8x8 and a 6x4 are all running smooth with no special setup/config. All firmware revisions are up to date. I think all of the players are the M-class as well.
Have you tested the Kscape stuff locally? K-scape lock ups are usually a networking issue between the server and the players. I'm sure you have them on their own isolated gigabit network?
I've also have had some bad DM input cards in the past that have given me some weird results, maybe try playing with that.

I was having an issue on a job where we had 2 KScape players being switched through a 16X16. One of the players would have HDCP issues that would prevent the source from being displayed throughout the house, but the other player was fine. I updated the firmware on the DM, specifically the HD-DSP input card, to 2.37.02, and the problem went away.
The problem came back again on its own, and reloading the same firmware into the HD-DSP card fixed it for a while, but once again, it came back on its own.
A couple weeks ago I went back and I updated the firmware in the DM to Puf 2.44.01, and I haven't seen the problem come back yet. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
That's the only issue I have experienced out of the 4 DM/KScape jobs we've done.

Are there any known issues with Kaleidescape and DM?
We have a client who has a Kaleidescape system that keeps "locking up"... Kaleidescape says that they have seen a bunch of issues with their product talking to DM. Can anybody confirm, and if so offer work arounds?
Thanks.
