Great - I tried to find the 1/8" mini on the back, but couldn't find a
picture that had it. Glad I don't have to build anything to attach to the
VGA port!

the Ex-link is NOT in the VGA connector....
The Ex-link RS-232 port is a dedicated stereo 1/8" connector on the rear of
the TV that uses TRS as TX/RX/GND (i'm not 100% on whether tip is RX or TX
or vice versa with ring).
I've used the Samsung 2008 RS-232 module from the files section
successfully on every TV with no issues to date. The module doesn't provide
feedback, but I haven't been able to source the protocol document for these
TVs nor have I really needed feedback yet.
Hope that helps,

I think in your model the ex-link is in the VGA connector.

Subject: [Crestron] Samsung UN55C6300 - Ex-Link jack?
I've tried to find a good picture of the connections on this display,
and I've been unsuccessful. Can anybody here tell me whether or not
I'll have any luck getting a serial connection up and going?
