Join the Web Archiving Section for a Virtual Coffee Chat with Julien Masanès, CEO of Hanzo Archive, on March 8th at 12pm EST. Masanès is the author of Web Archiving, the 2006 seminal text on web archiving theory and practice. In the past he has served as CEO of Internet Memory Research and the Internet Memory Foundation. Masanès's experience also includes cofounding and directing the European Archive, a non-profit foundation for Web preservation and digital cultural access, and directing the Web Archiving Project at the Bibliothèque nationale de France, as well as participating in the creation of the International Internet Preservation Consortium (IIPC). Masanès will discuss the rise of collaboration spaces at work and the challenges for archivists. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session. Registration is free:
