Conducted virtually and offered free of cost to NYS cultural collecting institutions, DHPSNY Planning & Assessment Services?aim to improve adherence to preservation best practices and can be utilized to obtain funding, increase the accessibility and use of your collections, and more.
?
Application materials for the following services must be received by Friday, July 15, 2022, to be considered for the summer 2022 application review period:
  • Archival Needs Assessments:?an excellent way to examine your archival program holistically through an external lens.
  • Preservation Surveys:?a general evaluation of your institution's preservation needs, pinpointing areas of concern and recommendations for improvement.
  • Strategic Planning Assistance:?helps organizations think proactively about their future and shape a three-year plan to serve as a road map for future decision-making under a trained facilitator.
DHPSNY Foundational Planning Assistance is accepted on a rolling basis.
