Women¡¯s group outing for Tuesday, October 4

 

Good evening Women of Corpus ?Christi,

Tonight¡®s women¡¯s group met, planned an amended outing for?next Tuesday Oct 4th, conducted the planned book discussion, and concluded with our prayer intentions. ?Kitty will be sending a separate email updating you on our book discussion.
?
Our plans for?next Tuesday?have expanded! Initially we were to meet for dinner. ? Our plans now are to first gather for dinner and then attend the following movie: ?Mother Teresa No Greater Love.
?
All persons receiving this email are invited to attend both the dinner and the movie. The choice is of course yours if you wish to attend one or both of the events. ?
?
FYI:
If you are unable to make the movie due to a conflict, please know that it is also showing at various theaters?on Monday, October 3?and?Wednesday, October 5.

I Will be purchasing tickets ($12.50 per ticket) tomorrow by noon for all those wishing to attend. ?As of this writing I have 6 people confirmed. ?If the confirmation list grows it is doubtful that we will all be sitting together. ?We will however be able to sit in clusters. ?Please let me know immediately if you would like me to purchase a ticket for you ; ?you can reimburse me the night of the event (cash only please).

It was good to see so many of you. ?
Lots of great positive things happening in our lives, thank you to everyone who shared their "good thing" this week.?
We read and discussed the gospel reading for?this Sunday?and had an insightful discussion
Discussed upcoming activities and things the group would be interested in for future months ??

Upcoming Events?
  • Friday (9/23) - Sip and Paint?at 6:30pm?- Contact Mia Mcintyre if you are interested, there may be a spot still available.
  • Sunday (9/25) - "Women Who Wine" - Meet at 50 West Winery?from 3-5pm?- ?contact Sara Skees - feel free to bring a friend, this is a social to relax and meet new friends.?
  • Tuesday (9/27) - Our regular meeting at the Parrish Office ?7pm. ?We will also discuss Chapter 4&5 of ?"Bishop of the Abandoned Tabernacle" ?Kitty will be leading the discussion.
  • Oct 3/4 - Be on the look out for the Movie "No Greater Love" at movie theaters
  • Oct 4 - Dinner?in lieu of our regular meeting in our 3 part series of apps/dinner/dessert
  • Calling crafters to start Angel Tree ornaments mid Oct.
