I think I’ve figured it out: ?apparently, Bella Erakko IS Barbara Taylor.? She also has books under the name Barbara Erakko-Taylor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “Always remember that you are absolutely unique. 开云体育All: Before his passing CB and I had talked with Barbara and Dina
about re printing the book. At that time Barbara was thinking
about it. As for this current edition available online may have something to do with work in the? public domain in the United States of America, and possibly other nations. Within the United States, you may freely copy and distribute work, as no entity (individual or corporate) has a copyright on the body of the work. 开云体育I have both books as well.I don’t see a lot of differences either except my original is signed. I cannot locate how or why it was redone. I do know it was mentioned on her about copyright and stuff and then this version appeared. I agree it is good to have it out there, but I am confused about how. I’ve just finished reading The Lost Cord by Bella Erakko. ?Does anyone know the relationship between this book and the one by Barbara Taylor? ?The titles and subtitles are identical. The Erakko book is copyright 2023, but 99.999% of it appears to have been written before 1995. ?The information on Bob Beaumont and the CitiCar is excellent, but you have to look past a lot of typos and that sort of thing. ?Most important though, the book is available. |

Re: C-Car serial number decoding
开云体育This is not the first time I have had this problem. Peter has stolen entire pages from my website in the past, removed my name and put HIS NAME in it's place.? So think about this, what you are saying is that it is okay to
"collect" the work/information/pictures from people who have it
nicely posted on their website, remove their names and
redistribute it under the name of keeping it accessible? But, we
can't keep the credit for the people who originally made that
information accessible? I guess that part is to MUCH work to ask?
? Well.. his "hard work and dedication" has shot CCar owners in
the foot my friend, for I will not publish more. BTW, He tried to dig the good name of CB through the mud. CB was a dear friend of mine and I truly miss him. CB never missed a chance to give credit when credit was due. I will not respond further to people encouraging Peter's theft, I
am here only to protect my work. If you appreciate "hard work"
thieving than I know my words are wasted. This is not about credit
or ego, I have kept parts available for these cars for 30+ years.
To do that, I have to keep people coming to my website. If I don't
sell parts every now and then then I can't keep these parts
available for you. Thank the folks who take credit for what isn't
there's? when those parts aren't available any more. If you
appreciated the hard work making the original content, keeping the
parts available, and providing technical support then you wouldn't
appreciate his "hard work" removing proper credit.

Re: C-Car serial number decoding
Peter is simply working to keep the available information organized and accessible for others who may need it. Over the years, much of this information has been lost, and Peter has played a key role in retrieving and bringing it back to the forefront for others to benefit from. It’s clear from his posts over the years that Peter does not seek to 'steal' or claim credit for this work.? Many of us appreciate his hard work and dedication, keeping the CitiCar alive.?? Re: C-Car serial number decoding
开云体育Glenn / All: I am sorry you feel that way, and I seem to have you and others
misunderstanding what I do?!? At no point do I claim total
responsibility, control, or authority for any information I
assemble and post? I simply format information from all, in usable
formats posted for any and everyone to use freely. If you have
questions or comments, I readily answer or refer to who may be in
a better position to help. ? Glenn and his father I have and
always will respect as being far superior in mechanical issues and
the research they have done to help keep our EV's on the road. Yes, I started with what you, [Glen] originally did as well as
what others over the years of their work and research have added.?
My own research may not be as extensive but I pull from what many
of all you the owners have found out or questioned as well.?
Before he passed away, CB and I were cooperating on assembling as
much information as possible to help us all in the future.? I am
sorry to say that most of that work was lost in the cloud when he
died. ? I am not out to step on anyone's toes and appreciate the close
cooperation we have all had, and I hope to continue to have in the
future. ? Peter Crisitello 181 Villa PlaceRahway, NJ?? 07065 -2831 Home:? (732)574-0776?? [no text, Land Line]

Re: C-Car serial number decoding
开云体育I see Peter still hasn't learned what plagiarism is. Still
stealing my photos and information. I always wonder how he would
feel if he had to work for a living just to have his work stolen
without credit. Yes, Peter, taking our work and passing it as your
own is makes you a SAD person (even when you change the fonts). In case you folks wonder why I (and several other people) quit helping with these cars, you can thank people like Peter.
