¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI just used my Citicar (when it had 8v batteries) with 16v on the meter. ?It was low, as you noticed. It -might- be possible to put a small dc/dc converter in series with two of the batteries, and adjusting the dc/dc output to add about 2 volts to ¡®correct¡¯ the meter.?Small LM2596 based converters are relatively cheap on Amazon. ?One listing has them 6 ea for $10.95. I¡¯m not sure how they will act in series, however. ?They may or may not behave well in a high voltage string.? Alternatively, there is a meter adjustment screw on the front of the meter that changes the spring rate of the meter, but this may change the zero setting as well. ? Third option: the meter has a resistor in line with the meter; you might be able to change the value of the resistor to get the meter matched with 16 volts.?
