Look at Photos named fyborg photos and picture "1980 electrical 3" to see what I am trying to explain.

Any progress Stu?

My car has a extra toggle switch installed that appears to be used to silence the buzzer even when the key is inserted but I am not aware of any diagrams showing the internals of the three little "box like" connectors behind the speedometer. The toggle switch is single pole single throw and goes between upper connector on the middle "box" to the common on the microswitch behind the ignition. That means it switched between the NO and NC position as if the key were not turned.

Good morning Jim,

I have located my notes and will work on them this week. I should be able to get them to you by Monday. My car does not
have the box like connectors. If they are the milky nylon connectors, they are probably made by Molex. Electronics
houses like Fry's Electronics carry them if you need more. Someone my have installed them so it would be easier to
remove the instrument panel?

Have a great day!

Stu
